Liz Wurster is a banker at JP Morgan and oversees client relationships, provide strategy advice to individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations, She facilitates access to the firm’s internal resources and provides holistic advice across a range of solutions including: investments, credit, banding, pre-transaction planning, estate planning, and charitable giving.
Liz formerly worked at Lehman Brothers and Barclays in New York where she gained international business experience as the Controller of the Firms’ Canadian business, helping to optimize the capital structure and expand the Investment Banking and Equity trading platforms in Toronto. In addition, she served as a deal Controller on the Structured Capital Markets desk managing the accounting, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements for several complex structures.
Liz earned her MBS from the University of Virginia Darden School and degrees in Business and English Literature from Franklin & Marshall College. Liz sits on the Finance Committee of The Children’s Inn at NIH, is a volunteer for the Special Olympics Openwater swim team, and Co-Chairs her alma mater’s DC Alumni Chapter Council. She and her husband live in Washington, DC.
